இவ்வாறான சவால்களுக்கு எம்மால் முடிந்த பங்களிப்பை வழங்கும் வண்ணம் எமது விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியானது பின்தங்கிய பிரதேசங்கள் மற்றும் தேவைப்பாடுடைய மாணவர்களின் மத்தியில் ஆங்கில மொழியில் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வினை ஏற்படுத்தும் வண்ணம் AU lanka நிறுவனத்தின் அனுசரணையுடன் மட்டக்களப்பு மேற்கு வவுணதீவு பிரதேச செயலகப் பிரிவிற்குட்பட்ட விளாவெட்டுவான், இலுப்பட்டிச்சேனை மற்றும் நெடியமடு ஆகிய கிராமங்களை மையப்படுத்தியதாக ஆங்கிலப் பாடநெறியை வடிவமைத்து அக்கிராமங்களை அண்டிய மாணவர்களுக்கான விசேட ஆங்கில வகுப்புகளையும் 6 மாத கால பயிற்சி நெறியாக மேற்கொண்டு வருகின்றது.
அதனடிப்படையில் இப்பயிற்சியினைப் பூர்த்தி செய்த இரண்டாவது தொகுதி பயிலுனர்களுக்கான சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வானது மண்முனை மேற்கு பிரதேச செயலகத்தில் இடம்பெற்றது.
விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியின் நிறைவேற்றுப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.பிரதீஸ்வரன் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில் மண்முனை மேற்கு பிரதேச செயலாளர் திருமதி.சத்தியானந்தி நமசிவாயம் அவர்கள் பிரதம அதிதியாகக் கலந்துகொண்டதோடு AU Lanka நிறுவனத்தின் நிகழ்ச்சித்திட்ட இணைப்பாளர் திருமதி.அனுலா அன்ரன் அவர்கள் விசேட அதிதியாகவும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்ததோடு விவேகானந்த குடும்பத்தின் சேவையாளர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
3 கிராமங்களிலிருந்தும் இப்பயிற்சியைப் பூர்த்திr செய்த 80 பயிலுனர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு தமக்கான சான்றிதழ்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொண்டதோடு கடந்த சுற்றாடல் தினத்தினை முன்னிட்டு சுற்றுச்சூழல் என்னும் தலைப்பை தொனிப் பொருளாக கொண்டு நடாத்தப்பட்டிருந்த பேச்சுப்போட்டி மற்றும் நாடகப் போட்டி போன்ற போட்டிகளில் சிறப்பான முறையில் வெற்றியீட்டிய மாணவர்களுக்கான பரிசில்களும் வழங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது.
The Last Tree என்னும் தலைப்பிலான நாடகமும் Students can go green என்னும் தலைப்பில் முதலிடம் பெற்ற பேச்சும் இடம்பெற்றதோடு இச்செயற்பாட்டின் மூலம் மாணவர்களிடையே ஆங்கில மொழியின் அவசியம் பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வானது சென்றடைந்தது மட்டுமன்றி மாணவர்களின் அனுபவப்பகிர்வும் ஆங்கிலத்தில் இடம்பெற்றமை குறிப்பிடத்தக்க விடயமாகும்.
இச்செயற்பாட்டிற்காக எமது விவேகானந்த தொழில்நுட்பவியல் கல்லூரியுடன் இணைந்து செயற்பட்ட AU Lanka நிறுவனத்திற்கு எமது கல்லூரி சார்பில் நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கின்றோம்.
Certificates for Students Who Completed the English Training Program
In this English-dominated era, even today our society continues to face many challenges due to the lack of awareness about the importance of the English language and its future impact.
It is noteworthy that a large number of students still face difficulties in pursuing higher education due to their lack of proficiency in English.
To contribute towards overcoming these challenges, Vivekananda Technical College, with the sponsorship of AU Lanka, has designed an English training program focusing on the villages of Vilavettuvan, Iluppattichchenai, and Nediyamadu under the Manmunai West, Vavunatheevu Divisional Secretariat. This program has been conducted as a six-month special English course for students from these underprivileged regions, with the objective of raising awareness on the importance of English.
Accordingly, the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the second batch of trainees who completed this program was held at the Manmunai West Divisional Secretariat.
The event was presided over by Mr. K. Pratheeswaran, Director of Vivekananda College of Technology, while Mrs. Sathiyananthi Namasivayam, Divisional Secretary of Manmunai West, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Anula Anran, Program Coordinator of AU Lanka, also participated as the Special Guest of Honor, along with members of the Vivekananda College family.
A total of 80 trainees from the three villages successfully completed the training and received their certificates. In addition, prizes were awarded to the winners of competitions such as debates and drama performances conducted under the theme of Environment, in connection with the recent Environment Day celebration.
Notable highlights included the drama performance titled “The Last Tree” and the winning speech under the theme “Students Can Go Green.” Through these activities, not only was awareness about the importance of the English language instilled among the students, but they also had the opportunity to share their experiences in English—a remarkable achievement in itself.
