The opening ceremony of the third branch of our Vivekananda College of Technology in Mullaitivu district was held on 23rd June 2023 under the leadership of Principal Mr. K. Pratheeswaran.
The spiritual guest Srimadh Swami Neelamadhavanandaji Maharaj (Manager, Rama Krishna Mission, Batticaloa) and the honorable Chief Guest Mr. S. Gunapalan (Additional Government Agent, Mullaitivu District Secretariat) along with special guests Mr. S. Jayakanthan (District Secretary, District Secretariat, Puthukkudiyiruppu), Dr. N. Ravindirakumar (Senior Lecture, University of Vavuniya), Mr. Pon. Perinpanayagam (President, Annai Sri Sarada Centre), Mrs. Thayani Krishnakaran (President, Social Welfare Organization), Mr. S. Paskaran (Director, Education Division, Puthukkudiyiruppu), Mr. S. Sanchivan (Social Service Officer, Mullaitivu District Secretariat) and heads of other organizations, well-wishers, trainees, students of Saradha center graced the occasion.
The training programs of college include basic computer training, vocational training and life skills development programs along with English, Sinhala and spiritual training.
Our college activities aim to provide employment training opportunities for the youth living in these rural areas and to improve the livelihood skills of the youth.
